Peter Mason has over 30 years consulting experience which includes the design and facilitation of strategy workshops at board, team and project level, implementation of major culture change programmes; and the accelerated delivery of major capital programmes. He has led long-term, multi-faceted projects in major oil companies such as BP, Castrol and Shell, construction projects including the Olympic Aquatics Centre and Heathrow Terminal Two as well as working with the rail (Network Rail, HS2 and Colas Rail) and transport sectors (National Air Traffic Services and British Airways).

Over the last 5 years he has also been involved with specific projects relating to developing leadership capability in high hazard industries including: the deployment of a ‘Just Culture’ programme across BP Operations and British Airways ground staff; the design, development and roll-out of BP’s global behavioural safety tool called SOC (safety observations and conversations),) and delivery to Network Rail and HS2 of 120 one day safety leadership modules to operators, team leaders and senior managers. He recently led our team  looking at the development of a Safety and Human Performance strategy for National Air Traffic Services.

An Energy graduate, Pete is Lloydmasters lead with the oil sector; with projects taking him all over the globe. Current work includes  facilitating a series of bi-annual workshops with teams from BP global engineering to build and deliver a performance based culture and the ongoing design and facilitation of a series of engagement and planning  sessions between BP and five major universities on a world leading corrosion research programme for industry.
